Do you think this will work?

I don't know.

It seems that people who would be good testers wouldn't necessarily be looking for "free". I guess I'd be inclined to contact my past customers and ask them if they have a spare shaft that they would like to have retipped for free in return for an honest appraisal.
I'm not doing much with the Oinkers because the UltraSkins are so good and so cheap already. Tom did send me a couple of samples - thanks Tom!!
Now if I had an opportunity to do house cues for a pool hall, that's where I'd try to sell them, I think.

Just my 2 cents
Good luck with your promotion.

Thanks Gary
I think these tips are going to fill my spot for lepro.....
If Tom decides to strengthen the line further by adding a soft and hard, I may be able to ditch elk and triangle too.

I never realized that the "oinkers" were reject tips. But, now with this knowledge in hand my question is: Why, as cheap as Tom's standard tips are, would anyone consider buying rejects?

Dick

Lol
I don't think they are rejects, just a little under qc for ultras.
I assume to get a tan tip out there.
I know not all of my customers want a black tip.

I asked myself the same question. Usually, if the product is as great as everyone describes, why put out factory 'seconds' That can be an azz biter most times. One must be carefull, as a few bad Oinkers can have a reflected bad effect of the sale of the standard line.

Anything I'm interested in as far as tips I try them first on my cue. It eliminates a lot of problems.

Well, maybe Tom can clear it up. The PigSkin used in Oinkers would not take to the Chemical treatment used for the Skins. This does not mean it is bad Pigskin. The process of soaking is costly and the 20 day dry time costs as well. Many played with a non treated pigskin for years, it was called a Morri.

If people want me to raise the price, I can make that happen. I just felt I would pass savings along. There is a reason it only comes in medium, I can't get a great Soft or Hard out of it so unless I can there will only be the medium.

I do hope that is good enough for Dave38, hate to lose his business over it.;)

I had ten tips to install for free
It took all of a couple hours to find the guinea pigs :)
I should have some feedback within the week
I did install one on one I my spares
It installs and shapes just as I would hope.
In no way does it feel like an inferior quality tip, as I'm sure we have all had experience with bad quality.
