What do you think of this creative pool video?

Calling someone a con-man and other abusive words on this forum is not the way to go. I thought we are all friends here.

I call people as they are. I believe him to be a con man, and you many other things. I will not mention every name I think you are out of respect for the forum rules:D.

Would you rather I use the word "hustler" or "cheater" when describing your idol?

The Fireball is a great player. I've seen him go a whole day without missing a ball. And that's on a tough table.

Doesn't Floyd have an argument? After all, here in 2013 pool players want more cash, not more trophies. So, is Floyd wrong?

I am not saying he is wrong I am saying that he went about it the wrong way. Why do you think ESPN, CBS etc.... does not sponsor or show any Billiards events?

Allow me to give you my opinion, It is because pool has a thug image they feel that pool players are nothing more then a bunch of hustlers and bar brawlers which make it unmarketable to the masses.

Snooker is sponsored and shown on a regular basis on the BBC network and Snooker players are becoming Millionaires

How many Pool players can say the same as far as earnings go?

Mr. Banks,

I hope you don't mind me asking, but exactly how old are you?

Best Wishes to You &

Why won't you answer this question? You always ask questions looking for answers.

It seems to be a simple question. Are you afraid to answer it? You should not be afarid to answer it. You are how ever old you are.

I'm 59. I may wish that I was 39 again, but I'm not. I'm 59.

How old are you? I for one would like to know so as to decide how to relate to you.

Please give me(us) an honest answer.

Best Wishes to You &

You sound like a 7 year old when you call Mike D. by a nick name that NO ONE else uses. please stop.

I'm pretty sure his nickname is as well established as any other popular pool nickname. I don't remember, but I'm sure they used it in the Mosconi Cup introductions.

I don't know if I can blindly accept your hypothesis. As far as I am aware, the percentage of thugs in the MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL is probably equal to or greater than that of pool players. The professionals in these leagues can do any type of drug, rape, assault, drive intoxicated, they can do anything you can think of and they are forgiven, they are even praised for their actions. And ESPN does not think unkindly towards them in any way. In fact it seems as though ESPN prefers that your professional league be full of thugs.

Take a look at the big sport that they cover the least, the NHL. The NHL probably has a lower percentage of violent criminals than the other 3 major sports. And ESPN barely covers hockey, it's almost as if they would prefer not to cover it at all.

So I am far from admitting your thug image idea. It seems to me that ESPN would prefer the thug image.

I beg to differ. His nickname is Mike The Pain Dechaine from Maine, drives ya insane, makes ya stain, lose yo brain, Mr Money drain, makes it rain, hits like a freight train.

I got that right, right?

What was the point of that video?? It was very poorly edited and made no sense. Why do you think that would inspire new players?

He likes cash. Good for him. Very bad video, poor production quality. What was the robot for? Why edit between him and a pool playing robot? What was the point. And again, why do YOU think it was so great? Why would it inspire new APA players?

I think the connection is that Floyd never misses. And Floyd makes people want to play pool.

Hmm. Not seeing it. He doesn't make me want to play pool. He makes me want to put my wallet on a safety chain. Besides, how does he make you wan to play pool with this video? He never shoots a ball, just grandstands and runs his mouth - often the same word via annoying edits.
