What do you think of this creative pool video?

Chris is this the first video you made? was it meant to be some sort of crazy fan tribute? Did you really think anyone would see it like you do? Are you the leader of the "Floydsters"?

You do understand that this video is making fun of him don't you? There is even a laugh track. LOL!!! Did you take this seriously? I mean seriously?

Edit: Good God that's funny. I keep watching and laughing. Funny stuff!!!

Jimmy always adds humor to whatever he does.

Chris, again, he says nothing. How can you worship a guy who just runs at the mouth about cash? Big deal. Another poor example. And, you keep avoiding answering the question, why do you think he's so great? Why is he an ambassador of pool? These two video examples you've shared show absolutely nothing about the game. Nothing. How does a guy yapping about being a wise guy make anyone want to play pool?? Explain your reasoning.

Perhaps Chris means ambASSador. That I can see.

Wait is this the video where he repeatedly talks about ordering a sandwich? If so I think it was originally posted on avclub.com and it's hilarious although unintentionally so.

Have y'all seen the original whole video? It's hilarious. The second half is this whole bit he does where he's like.. "Pete the Painter" or something. Wears the full painter's gear, complete with splatters, overalls, white hat. Carrying a 2 gallon bucket and a ladder. Tells the bartender he's here to do a job, and can he stow his stuff under the table for a bit while he waits for the boss to show up and direct him?

Then acts like he decides to play pool on a lark while he's killing time waiting to do this paint job. Hustles some random dude.

People argue a lot about whether the seedy hustler thing is good for pool or bad for pool. What I know is that this particular video (the original, not this awesome music video) is a bit too old and kinda cheesy to attract people. I can hear young APA players seeing it for the first time... "haha who is this guy? Was this thing made in the 80's or something? Does he still play? What did he win lately? Has he beaten Janet Lee? Is he on trick shot magic?"

I don't know if I can blindly accept your hypothesis. As far as I am aware, the percentage of thugs in the MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL is probably equal to or greater than that of pool players. The professionals in these leagues can do any type of drug, rape, assault, drive intoxicated, they can do anything you can think of and they are forgiven, they are even praised for their actions. And ESPN does not think unkindly towards them in any way. In fact it seems as though ESPN prefers that your professional league be full of thugs.

Take a look at the big sport that they cover the least, the NHL. The NHL probably has a lower percentage of violent criminals than the other 3 major sports. And ESPN barely covers hockey, it's almost as if they would prefer not to cover it at all.

So I am far from admitting your thug image idea. It seems to me that ESPN would prefer the thug image.

No ESPN wants to show the sports that generate ratings and money and unfortunately Pool is not one of those sports so this game can not afford the thug image as the others can.

Sometimes its odd how it takes so long for the original person to run across there BIO in this new world of Internet.
Little corrective info.

1.) it was a 5 gallon bucket with my tools, not 2 gallon.
2.) Most times I used the worst possible stick in the house.
___(SOMETIMES I had the opponent choose my weapon of choice.)
3.) I'm not really known for the classic "Hustle", as per say, but there were more side bets going on. AND sometimes they shared it with me.
4.) Yes, I'm still playing.

Rumpelstiltskin going back to :boring2:
