What do you think

Jack I love it, and it is also is very easy to repair when nicked. I am currently in the process of using Cork wraps on some of my conversion cues.

Have a nice Night

would you be willing to share info about repairimg nicks?

Dale<still threatining to try wrapping with cork>

I realized today after looking at the Jay Swanson Memorial tournament thread why I thought about cork wrap. I had seen the thread awhile back. Jay Swanson was one of the nicest players you could meet. He was a tremendous player and he beat me more than once --- I remember that wrap like it was yesterday. And I am sure a lot of players in CA remember it - maybe not too fondly.

Here is a Tulip wood and BEM South West I had Joe Blackburn put a cork wrap on at the Derby. I had a Tad that had a cork wrap on it by Ernie G. and liked it so I thought I would try another. I loved the Ernie wrap, this one not so much. The workmanship is great but it is a different type of cork that is much softer than Ernie's. Going to switch to white with brown specks linen.

I've installed several and have also seen them years later. They hold up, easy to clean, and do what a wrap is supposed to do. IMO, best wrap out there but it needs to look good on the cue.

Yes, it needs to look good. This is a close up of the cork wrap I just completed.
