What Does Football have to do with pool?

[Johnnyt]

DP/CW has a press release on the homepage here on AZ. The release is about DP promoting a football game in the PI. What does this have to do with billiards? There are plenty of football forums to put this kind of stuff on. Johnnyt

Maybe the mosconi team is going to play the winner. I mean they did start those grueling workouts. Hate to see them wasted.

If a big name pool promoter is branching out into other sports, it may affect the extent to which they transact business within our sport, and that makes it a story that belongs on a pool website.

No, I think it meant that DP/CW is starting a *football pool*. Doesn't say what each square/ticket is worth, though...
