hi u all, i'm new here and what i can say is that living in a country where pool is not so played it's very hard for me to improve as fast as i'd like to, especially on the mental aspect of the game. i watch as much tapes as i can, and partecipate to euro-tour events, where i have the chance to play some great names like souquet and so on, but that's very different to daily action you have in the us. some days i run out 5, 6 or even 7 racks in a row, and maybe the day after i play awfully...
some things that improved my game were learning from tapes, being ok outside the poolhall (it really increases self confidence!), my friend sandor tot and my cognoscenti cue.
i believe this forum will be a good new textbook for me, so please go on posting good tips.
