If you had the cash ... (and the room) what equipment would you buy for your cue shop.

A bigger shop dont count as an answer ...

A new lathe ... shaft machine ... CNC ... what would it be?

CNC for sure!!!!!!

I'd love to be able to program inlay patterns rather than making (or buying) patterns for the pantograph.

More lathes and mills to have dedicated machines for different operations would also be nice, but the CNC would be the first!

Everything a man could want in a shop, but then that probably isn't gonna happen unless My #'s come up in the lotto or something. I have to just keep adding alittle at time as It stands now, because from here on out everything I get in the way of equipment and materials is from money earned working on cues.

I guess if money was no object, then you could pretty much count Me in for all the good stuff, including 100 years worth of every kind of seasoned stock imaginable, and a indoor shooting range off the side of the shop, for when I just need to blow off some steam. Oh Yeah, add a indoor pool off to the side for when I feel the need to blow off steam & make a few bubbles at the same time:grin-square:

Seriously though I just be happy to have the equipment to have a medium size, but highly productive shop, and enough machining equipment to make whatever I need in the way of jigs and tooling.

The big mill that was used to make this:

That is a Tucker built machine right? I like it. Bet it cuts well with the ball/linear design. Gotta get one of those made up.
If so , Murray has alot of cool stuff!

Other than it would go right through my garage floor, "me too"

I just about fell off my chair when I asked Murray how he aligned the rails ... he just milled a long pocket for the things ... that's a lot of X travel ! On my mill I can make one about 18" long :boring2:

Exactly. Exactly. (I don't normally repeat myself, but I needed 10 letters.)
