Is he the pool instructor that travels the country and also robs most of the folks in the local tourneys??
if it is, he's still teaching and seems fine. He's always got something ailing him here and there. He really must have 9 lives. Great guy, met him once. See him posting on FB a lot.

I was in Phoenix when he starting Perfect Aiming thing, it was at Metro or SixShooters. I was across room when he was giving someone a lesson.
I could not grasp what he was teaching. Also got to borrow his DVD, my impression.
Most great player can’t teach, and visa versa.
Two totally different skills.
Wrong as usual. He can teach and he can play. Amazing, the idiot cheap bastard was across the room while a paying customer was getting a lesson and you could not grasp it. Trust me, there is a lot you don't grasp. The fact you could not follow along is a positive for his teaching. Like I said I had a copy of the DVD watched it maybe four times. I personally got zero out of the thing.
I am not cheap, or a bastard. I just don’t blow money on thing I have zero interest in.
Can name 8 or 10 DVD I bought that were about a fraction of cost of Geno DVD, that were gold nuggets of information, no smoke, mirrors, or bs.
If indeed Geno DVD was some golden nugget, every online retailer would see it. None do, wonder why?

He teaches wonderfully. The student has a responsibility, too.
I've seen him take a young woman who just couldn't pot a ball, and teach her the proper eye position for her, and BAM she was nailing long straight-in shots like it was no big deal.
You should have seen the smile on her face! It was like she found god or something. She was amazed.
She's not the only one I've seen Gene improve instantly. He knows more than 99 percent of the posters here do. ahem

Guess it like arguing McDonald v/s Burger King, both have followers. Both have those who dislike.
In n Out is best IMHO but it is not nationwide, so many never go to try In n Out.
He is alive and well in Minneapolis. Plays a couple tournaments a week.
If all you can do is pick on non perfect English. Guess you have a great life, with no problem bigger to tackle then perfection in english.

Well, it's ok to be skeptical, not everything works for everybody. You either see a shot correctly or you don't. What he taught helped me see shots correctly where some of them I wasn't seeing correctly before.Well I am still skeptical about Gene’s Perfecting Amining thing.

Its real and if you have aiming problems it might work. I use it and my day to day consistency greatly improved. There are two parts to what he teaches: the changes to fundamentals and the aiming system part. I just used the changes in fundamentals and I've seen a huge improvement and I would recommend him if you can make long straight in shots consistently but have shots you miss exactly the same way every time..Well I am still skeptical about Gene’s Perfecting Amining thing.
