There's always a way if you're determined enough. The more they fight you the bigger the payoff will be when you succeed. That's what I've discovered.Great post, wish I could follow the pool room route but where I live, the local better bearue business, or whatever they are called, are making it so hard for me to open one up. They legit think all it will bring is problems. That and I wish I was not forced into having a kitchen as I feel I can do better with just vending machines of sodas and snacks.
But that's why I'm more than likely heading to the regional tour model.
I wouldn’t want to travel around either if everyone hated my guts. Dechaine made his bed…It depends. Maybe he just doesn't like all of the traveling around the world that's involved with professional pool? I would say that would be a big factor in my decision.
Yes, my SS360/2 6-pie Kielwood.I was wondering if he was still using Kielwood.

I guess you could be right, but Only if you give a fiddler's f**k what anyone else thinks.I wouldn’t want to travel around either if everyone hated my guts. Dechaine made his bed…
It’s almost like if you alienate EVERY single person in the field in which you work…it doesn’t matter how good you are. You won’t want to be there because nobody wants you there.
No leave the house = No need for a backerNo backer = No gamble! that would explain why he's laying low.
Traveling day after day after day is not fun. Would like to hear any updates on J Bergman though.Fedor won 60k at the Derby. That's an 8 hour round trip (4hrs each way) from St. louis. If a Pro pool player isn't willing to drive 8hrs for a shot at that kind of money, it is time for another career.
not the reason. No backer = No gamble! that would explain why he's laying low.
I wish. Out here they will bury you in fees up front and make your life miserable if you try to open anything other than a coffee shop that will be gone in a year. There's always a way if you're determined enough. Biz is damn near impossible now days.I wish. Out here they will bury you in fees up front and make your life miserable if you try to open anything other than a coffee shop that will be gone in a year.
Pumpkin Spice 5 Ball. I've figured it out!Biz is damn near impossible now days.
Tell us what's up then! He at one time had a open invite for large $ to anyone who wanted to gamble.not the reason.
Wrong location, keep looking. The first rule of thumb is always to find a good location, and it may not be close to home or where you would like it to be. My opinion is that in any municipality of 25,000 or more people that doesn't have a poolroom, that is a potential location to put one in. Given that you can first find a suitable location (rent plus parking) and obtain the necessary permits. Without these criteria met, pass on that location and keep looking. That is where the "determination" I spoke of comes into play. If you want it bad enough, you will find a way!I wish. Out here they will bury you in fees up front and make your life miserable if you try to open anything other than a coffee shop that will be gone in a year.
Amen to that. I will never open another business in Cali with the prevailing climate. They will bury you in fees, licenses and permits. Not to mention outrageous property taxes. As you know I own a few rental properties. The property taxes have doubled and tripled in the last three years! Two full months of income goes just to pay for all the above. I'd rather own a triple net property (bought my first one last year) or invest in Bonds (treasury or one of many others now paying 6%+). Passive income is the way to go for me from now on.Biz is damn near impossible now days.

Thanks for sharing! FYI who determines the tax structure in each district is not necessarily politically motivated. The beauracracy can be controlled by either party or neither one. Showing hatred for the Democratic party is not a good look at this time of division in this country, brought on by a Republican ex-pres who has clearly lost his mind.Hold up, aren’t you one of those lefty loonies who support ca democrats? Business in ca is difficult because of all the taxes and regulations the democrats vote in.
Been reading yer posts foe a while - mostly negative stuff, plus u go with whatever the leading health excerpts say (follower with a low i.q.) I will stand by that as well!!I know he has played really well, but I stand by my statement!I
have you read any of this thread?? the reason(s) he doesn't play much have been covered. look, he's played at a hi-level since he was about 15. its a tough gig to say the least. you're free to go to St.Louis and see if he can still make a ball.Tell us what's up then! He at one time had a open invite for large $ to anyone who wanted to gamble.
What happened to that.
