What if a 300 plays a 700?

I was at one event, a guy that was 590 speed won 20 games in a row, and only finished in the last money spot (16th out of 64). I'm a 570, and the best I did was 8 games in a row. Those extra chips the weaker players get outweigh the stronger skill of the better players, in my experience.

That may be true depending on the way chips are distributed. It is also possible there are perhaps 16 weaker players and 4 stronger players each week and the tournament more frequently being won by a weaker player makes it seem they are preferred even if they are not. This would be a neglect of base rates bias.

The chips amount to money odds.
All fargorate is based on race to 1. Every game is rated no matter how many games are in the race.
