and how is he doing?

I only have spoken with him once since he left Schon cues

Is he making cues now?

If so I want to buy some,if not I want to hear how
he is.

I am sure I am not alone in this feeling.

Evan call me,I always enjoy hearing from you

He is not making cues. He is doing refinishes and that is about it.

what a loss to the pool world
here is a cue maker of the highest quality
who is no longer making cues

and i would like to buy a few

those tributes he made for me ,stand out in my mind
as among the finest cues ever made

ecan preferred the new style points,he makes a great argument for the
benefits obtained
the only real advantage of the mitred points is beauty in the eye of
the buyer

I personally buy both kinds,Evan ,Ernie and Billy Stroud along with Jack Potter of Libra cue fame

prefer the inlaid points i will buy what Evan makes for me and be
glad to get it

The only advantage is significantly reduced time spent building the cue. Points don't make balls for you, regardless of construction.

Plain janes don't reduce the time as much as some think. Whether it's flat bottom or Vee. Points are a lamination and contribute to stability.

Look up T&C Cue Repair in MN

The one time I met Evan before Segen closed up we got into a nice discussion on photography....my guess is he’s doing that. He had quite the impressive large format setup and the work of his I got to see in the office was very good! Nice guy, left a great legacy of cues, hope he’s doing well with whatever he’s doing!
