What is going on with Landon Shuffet?

Been absent from the site for more than two (plus) years. When I left, it looked as if Landon would be America's next shining star.

Since I just yesterday saw the news of John Morra's hiatus (sad), it got me to wondering about other young stars....and Landon came to mind.

Is he still in the pool scene?

He's a smart young man. He's in college right now....the great thing about pool is that its just a game that will always be around, it doesn't matter how much time away you take away from the game.

Just saw him happy and healthy at "Billiards at The Ballpark" before Mosconi Cup :thumbup:

Hi Maniac,

As many of you know I'm currently enrolled at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, and competing for the billiards team in which we are doing quite well! I am staying in stroke and I train regularly with the team but yes, I don't make it to too many tournaments these days but I plan on returning to some in the future! I'm pursuing an early childhood education degree (this makes me eligible to teach pre-school through 3rd grade). I'm continuing to stay active in Christian ministry with my church in Wentzville, MO, and loving every minute of it! I'm also a huge music lover and I love learning to play all kinds of instruments. I'm doing quite well! Later, AZ!

I congratulate you on your early life choices.
I know your parents are very proud of you.
And....I respect very much your dad's findings about how to shoot better pool.
Stay happy and stay focused. (my grandson is in college studying the ministry and is the youth minister at his church). Perhaps there is some hope for the youth of America after all.
At least you're not hanging around night and day with crummy loafer pool room bums like I did when I was your age. Good for both of you.

Thanks for posting, Landon. You seem to be running a good race. I wish you all the best. It would be nice if more young men in this country took the road you are on.
