What is the drill bit size used for a under sized uniloc radial pin tap?

I like to spot drill a 1/4, then step up to .275 the .290+ then bore to .312 .

I like using a .312 reamer, 6 of one , 1/2 dozen of the other maybe.

same drill bit for both doesn't mater which tap if done correct I have used 19/64 on 3/8-11 but I don't see the benefit on radial or 3/8-11 really
