Its all in your wrist. Try placing the tip of your cue only about 2 inches away fro the object ball and don't move your elbow, shoot only with your wrist. When you get a feel for it, use your normal stroke and add a bunch of wrist. Tons of power.
If your bridge is only a few inches away from your cue ball, its gonna improve accuracy too.

It does look cool if you manage to hit it, though...

That way I'll have a few surprises in my sleeve if the opponent even attempts defense/safety play. There is no safety when I shoot! Maybe I'll try that trickshot, but don't worry, the balls fly around more than enough in regular play. About two weeks ago I sent a ball more than half meter into the air. I felt so proud of myself

I even made the shot! I guess more than a hundred times in my career the OB jumped vertically and then dropped instead of being pocketed regularly. I have many, many more similar stories about balls flying at the spped of sound, nearly hitting other people etc. I could write an essay about it. But there's this one I remember particularly: I blasted at the opposite rail, the CB jumped back towards me and nearly hit me in the balls. Damn, that was close!
