What is the name of the billiard game that employs t-shaped pegs in the middle of the playing field?

Mr. Bond's avatar shows Sean Connery playing the game.

As far as i know this is an English Bar billiards game played on a 2ft by 6 ft table - one ended similar to a pin ball machine. The "t" peg sat over a hole and the object was to knock them into the hole without scratching.

must say i havnt seen one of these for years though and im sure there's a proper name for it.

All the best

Without pockets, it is called 5-pin or pin billiards.

With pockets, I think there is a game called skittles that uses pins, but I've never seen it played.

Isn't Russian Pyramids played using pins for scoring? There is a YouTube video of Stalev playing it.

edit - Just saw Mr. Bond's avatar, that is not Pyramids, but Pyramids do use pins, but playing on a regular pool table I believe.

That is correct
The only English pub billiards game I've heard of is English eight ball (small balls, smaller cue ball, small snooker-like table). Could you please explain a little about the English game that uses pins?

bar billiards... a local pub near me has a classic bar billiards table from the 1800s from france. It's a really fun game but the table is small and the game lacks alot of the nuances that regular pool has.

I have a Russian player that uses pins on both the snooker table and the carom table. But dont know the name of either game.

Pyramid is played on 12 foot tables.

I've played a game called skittles, that used a cue ball a yellow and a red as well as some pins. Two black pins, which you don't want to hit, and four brown ones worth points for knocking over.

Heres a 3100 break at bar billiards, which I guess is good?
