What is the Strangest you have won gambling at pool

i won a 50cc motor scooter from a guy,paid little al mason $100 to drive it to my home

my kids loved it
when the title didn;'t arrive ,i called motor vehicles

the bike was stolen so the cops came and picked it up

my kids looked sad
my wife asked me,"what kinds of guys are you gambling with?"

You didnt give little Al a100 to drive it. You gave Al a 100 after he drove it home for you.
 
I once had to spot a guy 40 balls to get him to play a race to 50 in straight pool for $50.00. He hung ball 50 for the win and I ran out my last 6 balls for the win 50-49 and he vowed never to play me for money again and he never did. I was 16 and Danny was 17/18, we played on a old 9ft brunswick at the local bowling alley in Dumont,NJ 47 years ago.

My two best wins not for money: 1) Was in a new career in sales about 20 years ago and my company had a holiday party for our clients. Lots of drinking and my boss liked Pool. I ended up putting up a few bucks against our two biggest accounts. I won the accounts and if I think about it, probably changed the trajectory of my career and professional life. Certainly worth six figures over the next few years.

2) Won a kiss on a first date with a dark haired beauty! We’ve been together now for 15 years and married for 12. That one has cost me way more than six figures . So far!! But grateful for that win too!!! Best one yet.
