What is this....ABIA: American Billiard Installers Association

Well I searched around and found nothing thinking it was a group type insurance hmo or ppo with purchasing power I see alot sales rep offering group discounts like this. Everything I found lead to Nigeria as city. Other then that no groups, insurance or businesses in portland by that name as a word or abbreviavtions. I will try to acces county records when I get home from work and see what turns up. No business license or insurance on them yet.

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately we are not an advertising company for pool table stores or installers, The ABIA is a professional trade association. We would recommend searching for a company in your area and requesting their status with the ABIA to verify the quality of the company you have found. You can return with their ABIA member number to check their status with the association.

Thank you,
ABIA staff

That was in response to an inquiry for a recommendation on one of their members to attend to an "antique Brunswick that had warped(?) slates, needed pockets tightened, and covered with 860.
I almost forgot I had that email account it had been so long since I used it!

And now I have an invite on my poolplayers account...

I nominate Glen as\for President of Billiard Mechanics of America BMA. Now who the %^&% is going to argue with me now?

This pic of the RKCmobile leads me to think his insurance premiums for traveling as prez will be too high for the members to cover

To many places and not enough time! LOL

Let's see, 80,000 miles per year, 28 ft truck, 20 ft trailer, 3400 posts to AZ, seminars, tournaments, 100 phone calls per day, 100 e mails and PM's, and almost forgot 300 installs and table rebuilds, Yes John, Glen would be the perfect candidate for president of the mechanics union,....As soon as we hire 5 people to pickup his current workload.

As Ben Crenshaw said before the final round of the 1999 Ryder cup, with an overwhelming deficit to overcome "I have a good feeling about this".
The only issue will be, the corporate headquarters for the union will be a 45 ft motor home with Glen at the wheel...:rotflmao1::rotflmao1::rotflmao1:

Now if we could find an able bodied secretary to also act as a chauffer, tool pusher, and go-fer he'd be able to handle the rest with ease!
Now where's that 2012 ballot.....?
