Gold Crown I
I like all Gold Crowns, but if I had to pick my favorite, and you asked.
The GCI had better ball counters on the foot rail, not the cheap outsourced ones after the GC II's, the pocket irons had barrel holes so the irons would not wiggle loose over time, had better wood for the slate frames and had dowled slates to rid the table of roll offs over the seams, plus the formica was top notch and all the wood was kiln dried, the flint based/orange slate was repairable if it cracked. The GC II had the next generation of slate, kinda a blue color and the pocket irons did not have the barrel holes, but the GC II had leg levelers, and that was 'nice' to have.
