what joint type pros prefer!

my guess would be flat-faced radial or 3/8-10. Wood to wood joint.

But everyone's different. That's what I prefer, but I'm no pro either.

For me: Flat Faced Wood to Wood (3/8-10 or Radial). However, I have recently come to appreciate the joint that Lambros is using (3/8-10 Piloted, with a curved face).

You mean like : As big as their index finger and passed from left to right? Another obvious answer would be: Free;)

Andy - Partakes, but doesn't inhale. hey I may want to run for President someday.

If you figure there are several hundred pros throughout the world, I suspect there is no answer to this question. Everyone has different preferences. The pros are no different. Is there a reason for this question to even come up? It makes no difference what joint (tip, cue, shaft, ferrule, chalk, shaft cleaner, etc) someone else uses. People should be making decisions based on what works best for them...not what works best for someone else.

I think a pro can adjust and play with any joint type.
