What kind of cue ?? Found in wall...mich.

Conversion Q

Unless you are hiding some exotic trademark that cue will have value far less than your estimate.
Nice find though.
Nick :)

Nick you're right on, I have not seen "unknown maker" or "unidentifiable cues" go for that kind of money.

found this cue in a old bar in michigan, late 40's-50's era cue. Has green/yellow/red/natural butterfly splices and the same with points next to the splices. Shaft has a slight bend 6 inches from the ferral. The cue and shaft both have a serial number on them # 227 , brass joint.....any help would be great, cue IS UP FORSALE OR TRADE . Victor stien has seen this cue at the bca trade show. I have a idea of worth . Cue was in a black leather case, fur lined. I have had the cue for 20+ years.

WAS TOLD UNTIL MAKE IS DETERMINED, MINIMUM $ 1,100.00
OPEN TO TRADES ALSO............

NOTE: I PUT THE BUMPER ON THE BUTT

The one identifying factor is the serial number. In the late 1960's after Brunswick had stopped production in the US they started importing cues from Asia with the Brunswick name on them. Each cue was marked below the joint collar and above the collar on the shaft with a serial number, this was done so that the shafts and butts would not get mixed up during shipment. This cues points and veneers also are low quality just like all the other imports I have seen with serial numbers during that time frame.

In my opinion it is not worth a great deal of money, and it is an import from the late 60's / early 70's time frame. As for value I guess it is worth what ever you can get for it, however, I see nothing that makes this cue collectible or valuable.

Just my thoughts

thanks for the replys..........this is why I ask questions......someone on here will know the answer......any offers?/// ;)
