What kind of joint pin is this?

Just a friendly advise - you should post it in the cuemakers thread.

Good luck

JOINT PIN : 5/16 x 18 joint pin................................................

Looks like

It looks like a 5/16 14 pin due to the thread does not go all the way up, i have a few 5/16 18 pins with a few more than that.

I would buy a Predator partial shaft, and let a local cue maker fit it to your cue, so that it is a perfect fit. Remember, the diameter is diff on all cues even if the pin is the same. And I can assure you, not only does it look like crap when the diameter is "off", it's gonna be hard to sell it one day as well...

And don't forget, if this is a 3/8-10 pin, a lot of cuemakers don't use the exact 3/8-10 pin, some are slightly modified, and thus won't fit your standard 3/8-10 pin...

Of course, sometimes prediator and OB and Tiger sell shafts that are "matched" to a particular "brand" so you can buy right off the shelf as well since they did the homework of the right joint diameter, and pin types to ensure a correct fit....
