What kind of joint thread is it?

Can someone tell me what kind of joint thread it is? I'm thinking of a 5/16x18. Or would you consider it as a 5/16x14? Any suggestions?

Put a ruler next to the threaded area, with a playing card or credit card, count the threads in one inch.
These pins are SAE measurements (society of american engineers).
3/8 x 10 = 3/8" diameter x 10 threads per inch
5/16 x 14 = 5/16" diameter x 14 threads per inch
5/16 x 18 = 5/16" diameter x 18 threads per inch

Thanks, I didn't knew this yet. Will measure it when I got my cue back.

Also thanks to the other guys.

SAE is the acronym for Society of Automotive Engineers. 3/8 x 10 is not an automotive thread. Nor is the 5/16 x 14. Both of these are considered 'bastard' threads. Sorry for the correction but I just hate the perpetuation of mis-information.
