Question for the locations and venues. Which venues are most attractive to players? Casinos? Pool rooms? Convention space?
With the multiple events, which 2 would most players want 8-9-10 ?
Well gee, I suppose you'd have to ask the players.
Personally I'd much rather play in tour events that were in places like LA, San Diego,
Sacramento, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas Reno, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Denver,
Kansas City, St. Louis, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Orlando,
Washington DC, New York,.... places like that.
Bigger cities, more things to offer, hotel ball rooms or convention facilities.
I would think that although places like Cozad, Nebraska; Rifle, Colorado;
Kalispell, Montana; Marblehead, Ohio; or Amenia, New York are beautiful in
their own way, they wouldn't be optimum places to hold to hold tour events.
As far as multiple events, instead of 2 of 8, 9, or 10, ball, how about side by side Men's
and Women's events, or a major tour event at the SBE, or side by side with the APA
events. Imagine an event in Phoneix - The South West 10 Ball Championship, side by side
with the WPBA Phoenix 9 Ball Open, and The APA South West Challenge 8 Ball tournament.
What are your thoughts?
I appreciate your question, but I do detect a note of sarcasm and contempt emulating
from your response. Open up a little, if no one had the courage to opine about the
future you'd be playing pool by candlelight and using a mace to do it.
