What other hobbies??

Grilling, Shooting firearms, would eventually like to learn to play my guitar I bought, working on the bike and mustang, learning to be a auto mechanic now on my cheap truck I just picked up.

Almost forgot fishing as I sit sun burnt from yesterday. Has became big for me this year. Just bought two Lews Speed Spools over the weekend.

Wife says I have to many hobbies also and that I jump to deep into them

  • Playing bass guitar (6-string contra-bass). Have played (both amateur and professionally) for 30 years now.
  • Handyman around the house and garden (I probably have just about every tool ever made, and pride myself in my mechanical abilities)
  • Consummate arborist and outdoorsman, who enjoys working with lumber, firewood, trees, etc.
  • High-powered rifle target shooting

Notice that, although I work in the Information Technology field, you'll see that I DON'T list computers or anything related to technology above. Ask me 15 or 20 years ago, and they would've been. That's by design -- as I get older, I've learned not to let technology rule my life, and tell gadget geeks to "talk to the hand." ;)

It was skateboarding before the ol' knee gave out (torn ACL and a bunch of other damage) at the ripe old age of 23. Now I can't skate so much anymore since I never got surgery. Nowadays it's just lots of pool, chess, reading, gardening, and I make mosaics sometimes when I feel up to it. Looking to get back into playing some music soon hopefully.

poolhustler - have you ever been to Blade Show? I went many many years ago but it's such a great time. I used to be into tactical knives back in the day and so wish I had kept some of them. I had Mayos, Hinderers, a Scott Cook Lochsa, JL Williams, etc. Lots of great knives that I bought for $300-700 that are now worth $1000-2000. But my interests changed and I sold them before the prices went up. Got out of knives for years but just recently started getting interested again but with a focus on slipjoints now.

My main hobby right now is knives. I buy, sell, trade, collect.........

Heyyyy!!!! Me too! Although, not as much as my craft beer addiction.

Ah the good 'ol griptillian, been through about 4 of those LOL. For whatever reason I can't seem to keep them in my possession, people are always buying them off of me.

I have one with me everyday. I'll probably end up buying a few more. I almost pulled the trigger on an Adamas, but it's not very discreet in the office lol.

Lol That is why I no longer carry my Spyderco ParaMilitary 2... I got tired of "the look"

Now I carry a CRKT Heiho. It is an AWESOME discreet EDC knife, and if I break it, they are only like $40

Haven't been yet, but hope to go someday. Its amazing how much some knives appreciate. That's one of the reason's I like the Kershaw / ZT LE's, some of them double the minute they are released.
