Old or new, known or unknown, who, in your opinion, has made the game of pool look the easiest? For me I think the confidence, pace, skill, laughter and unfazed nature of Rodney Morris in his prime takes the cake. It always surprised me how he could be playing a hill hill match and make it look like he was practicing on his home table. He would one stroke a thin, blind, cut shot, get up walk around the table, go four rails through traffic and be waiting for the cue ball when it landed in perfect shape for his next ball. A thing of beauty and my favorite shooter to watch all-time. What about you, who do you think?

Cole Dixon and Cecil Tugwell playing 7 games of one pocket in 35 minutes made the game look pretty easy. In a race to 4 , the breaker won every game in the second turn at the table.
Willie Mosconi made the game look simple. Running centuries in straight pool when he was so drunk he was hanging onto the rails to get around the table.

Mosconi wunna drunk. Per recorded history that is.
I got it from Portland Slim, who racked for him on exhibition s in Portland. Slim was a dapper man that had no reason to fabricate. Slim gave me last pocket 8 ball lessons at the 211 in the '80s. And he was in his '80s. 🤷‍♂️ Very reliable source.
I saw behavior from Mosconi in or around '85, that fit what Slim had told me about him.
