What player, of all-time do you think made pool look the easiest?

I got it from Portland Slim, who racked for him on exhibition s in Portland. Slim was a dapper man that had no reason to fabricate. Slim gave me last pocket 8 ball lessons at the 211 in the '80s. And he was in his '80s. 🤷‍♂️ Very reliable source.
I saw behavior from Mosconi in or around '85, that fit what Slim had told me about him.
I stand down then.

Complete and utter bs.

But I suspect you’re just trolling. The description fits Greenleaf, not Mosconi. I saw Mosconi play several times and he was always the penultimate professional, freshly barbered and nattily dressed. In each of those cases there was a bar in the room and I never saw him take a drink.

And to answer the original question, no player I’ve ever seen made the game look easier than Mosconi.

Filler in recent memory. Maybe Rodney in the past. I started watching in the 90's...

It MUST be a fast player to look effortless, IMO.

You can suspect all you like. I suspect that you disseminated miss information on behalf of the U S Airforce. I suspect that your and my exposure to Mosconi came at a different time in his career than Portland Slim. I am not sure how long his career with Brunswick lasted. I saw no alcohol consumption by Mosconi. I only saw behavior that resemble what I had seen in people that I knew to be heavy drinkers.
I suspect that I am in the minority when I proof read before I post. Greenfield? Greenland? Really?

So, if a guy is 'Dapper' (dresses well) He's completely honest. LOL!

That wasn't intended as evidence of honesty. More as an indicator of his monetary ability. 🤷‍♂️ I think that he had no need to fabricate a story to .......uh what? Make himself appear expert. Hell his performance on the table proofed his expertise on the games on felt. That was evidence of his hours in the yester year pool rooms.

Anybody remember Cosmo?

just not a good one

Willie Mosconi was never known to be a drinker at all during either his competitive years or his many years on the road for Brunswick / I MET HIM BEYOND THOSE YEARS at events and he still was not a drinker as he aged - this is total fabrication. by the poster within this thread.
Why would anyone want to destroy the image of a man who did everything possible to make pool a clean game?
