Since the question is made the most of their talent, I would not be going for the natural players, probably the ones who had to work their butt off. I've heard Shane worked harder than anyone for years, so my vote maybe goes to him. Niels Feijen is another that works so hard on his game. Heck he has very poor eyesight in one eye and he has still won a world title.
In Snooker, someone like Steve Davis or John Higgins. Ronnie O'Sullivan and Alex Higgins probably had the most natural talent, and could have done so much more IMO.
