What production cue is your favorite?

If you're going to spend a few bucks, Schon. If you want a decent hitting cue on the "cheap", Lucasi.

Wood joint Predator sneaky 5/16-18 joint(not uni-loc) with an OB-2 shaft. Came with standard Predator shaft, but I wanted a Z2. Got an OB2 for a decent price and have been using it ever since >2years. I've got an assortment of other cues, custom and production, that I've used and still pull out occasionally, but I keep going back to this setup.

i'm a joss sucker. The whole low deflection argument for me isn't a factor cause I want to be able to play with anything. You get used to a LD shaft and if you happen to be with your cue, it makes it a little tougher to play with a regular shaft. just my $0.02

Production cue

Schon is my favorite no question.Best hitting production cue for the money.Joss is second and third is AE but they are customs here in Colorado so dont count.

I shoot with a 15 year old Schon Ltd. With it's original stock shafts, 3/4" ferrule and a Chandivert Rocky tip.
Previously had a Southwest, and I have to say, a Jerry Franklin original ... nothing hits or feels better. But the Schon feels too natural with my stroke and play style that I continued to shoot with it.
My break cue is a Macc Break/Jump with two shafts (one phenolic tip, one with a 1/2" ferrule and Chandivert tip).

i swap back and forth between my predater blak with 314/2 shaft and a my mcdermott with a g core shaft.
havent decided which i like better. my play is about the same with either.

I have a g core shaft on my helmstetter and the hit is pretty good esp for its price. The 314-2 I am not impressed with hit wise at all, it seem like it has too much flex.

I progressed from:

McDermott w/ I3 shaft and stock
Pechauer w/ Z2 and stock
Schön w/ Z2 and 314-2

Nothing wrong with any combination. The Schön has real ivory and overall better materials. Hench its price tag. The Pechauer is a work of art, but is primarily just different combination's of stains on birdseye-maple. Pechauer does have some awesome selections of maple.

Pechauer and Jacoby with stock 12.75mm shafts. The Jacoby is grey area, may not be considered production. I would like to try a Joss.

And lastly a good old Heubler. Stock or custom standard shaft. In my case a Kevin Varney on a plain jane Heubler.

Predator!

Predator Quiet Roller#2,by far for me the best Production cue and one of the best hitting cues I've ever hit with, and I've hit with a ton of them:)

what....no Cuetec??????

I don't know if this qualifies as "production"...but a standard no frills BCM right out of the box is gonna hit real good......IMO

Favorite Production Cue

From my experience i'd go with a Schon with a Predator 314-2 shaft and a Sniper tip. That combination feels good to me, but what's right for me may be terrible for the next guy.......

cue

I love my Schon with OB 2 Schon shaft
I also like to play with the top production cue of all time BBC Wille Hoppe professional! playing with my willie :o

Like the hit from my Schon...played with it for 15 years, added a 314 shaft which hindered the hit quality but the lower deflection made it worthwhile. That schon hits like a mack truck with the original shaft :-)
R.I.P. Just hung it up for a BENDER :-)
