Justabanger and myself are facing off on Wednesday for the King of AZ 8s and I picked one pocket and he picked 9 ball but we need another game and we have 4 choices,8 ball,banks,10 ball or straight pool.Basically your votes will decide that game we will play.Thanks and tune in Wednesday at 5pm MT at www.ontherailtv.com :smile:

Haha,7 ball would have been fun,the old school way though where you each get one side of the table to make the 7 ball in. :)
 
I voted 8ball just because Rotation is not there.... :rolleyes:

So how about Rotation "Filipino style".....

Sudden Death 7 Ball is a perfect rubber match. 1 safety per rack. No hiding here.
 
BigTruck & I played Short-Rack Banks, Race to 3 for our TX Mid-level tie breaker and I have to say, it was alot of fun.
 
yeah someone menitoned 9 ball banks instead of boring ole 9 ball that would be cool, my vote is for straight pool no luck involved there.
 
If you selected one pocket as your choice then I would suggest eight ball. They are more similar to each other. These games require more thinking and slower pace. Straight pool would be my second choice. Bank pool is another animal all together. Banks only if you are comfortable with it. Let us know what you guys decided.
 
I dont hate my money!

I will tell ya that I am not gonna play bank pool for any kinda money. It is bad enough that I have to play 1 pocket but banks are out of the question. I don't hate my money enough to play 2 games out of 3 that I never play. I also have never played straight pool but I am willing to try that game.

Well I think I have the edge in one hole so I picked it and you have the edge in 9 ball as I detest it and play it poorly but I am fine with either 8 ball or straights,it looks like it will be one of those 2 from the polls right now,should be fun! :grin:
