Hey, you got that avatar of yours sized up just right. Great-looking pooch! :)

If this Olathe tournament becomes a hit, then I do think that qualifier tournaments around the country may erupt, the winner getting a free $3,000 entry fee to Shooter's 10-Ball Championship. It's one of the best things to happen in pool in a very long time, and to think, there's no outside sponsors. Pool folks donating their time, their pool room to host the event, and TheActionReport.com staff providing coverage. This is really a win-win for pool in America.

we all want the same thing, bigger, better and more entertaining pool events! the subject was "monthly trnys" and i feel without corporate money(sponsors) that it would be hard to fill up a monthly event with entry fees over $500.i agree about grady,i know he has plans on doing some great things and i cant wait!:D

I think for now we have to foget about corprate sponsors. But I still feel that pro players and bankers can pull off good tournaments on there own with help from some poolrooms. They could play monthly touraments in a dozen or so parts of the country. If the entry fee needs to be only $500...so be it.

If the number of good paying touraments went up and the purse money climbed over the months I believe some sponsors would get interested quickly. I just would like to see the pros make a living. Johnnyt
