:D I just bought a 8 ft by 4 ft table and at work we have a 9 ft table and I was just wondering what do most people have and play on? just a curious question

I'm a table mechanic without a table.

So I work my butt off all day 6 days a week then go to the pool hall and blow my money there. Kind of sad I say.

Our shop does have a 9' table we play on.

was just wondering if you all notice the difference between the 8ft and 9ft tables? I ask this because I have not recieved my table yet and am used to playing on a 9ft.

I have an 8, but I am considering getting rid of it and getting a diamond 7ft like the ones used at VF.

9' Boston victory pro......GC knockoff...what ever you do, put a table in that fits the room....no short cues if you can help it...

IN my opion...

9ft and 7 ft are the way to go because thats what most tournaments are played on..

This is a current issue of mine. I only have room for a 7' table. Have a Brunswick. It plays well and the pockets are tight enough, but I don't think shooting on a 7' table helps much at all. I guess it is better than nothing. Being a family man I can't go to the pool hall more than say twice a week so this is really limiting my ambition to be a better player.

Have an 8 foot Pro-line (made in Florida). The pockets are snug and it rolls true. Away from home I'll play on 7fters more often than 9's. The different size tables can be a bit frustrating on my game - maybe it's all in my head??? lol
