Say you had to put in 8 bar tables and 12-16 9 footers.

What tables and why?

What brand is the easiest to maintain and repair?

Tables would be in a room with mostly bangers and some league play.
Durability combined with $$$ is an issue.

How about a ball park cost? Just tables and then installing. Your normal area. I am not looking for a quote but rather a little research.

Go with Diamond smart tables less money out of pocket in start up lease them for $100 a month for I think 5 years. This alone saves $3,000 a table up front starting cost. You can run all the tables by coin drop or by the hour very flexable design. Alot of thought and engenering went into the table most tables with ball returns if a piece of chalk drops in and down it jams the pocket on Diamonds they are stepper angled so the chalk falls straight through.

Gandy tables have the fastest and quitiest returns, but they are out of business, Now Diamond has the ranking of the quick and quite.

Most rail tops cant handle sustained abuse from everyday ball bangers, cue hits and ball hits to the top of the rails. Diamond tables use Diamond wood for there rail tops, the wood is so hard or impact resistant you could hit it with a ball-peen hammer twice and it might just barely leave a mark.

I could go on & on but what most people dont know is Diamond will buy back there used tables @ a good price if your business isnt doing good 2,5,10 years down the road. This is why you dont see alot of used Diamond tables.

I dont work for Diamond yet but I am working on it. I was originaly looking to open several poolhalls in my area of California.

If you use okay or basicly junk tables you dont get the return customers word spreads fast on who has good equipment no one goes were the equipment is junk unless the beer is super cheap.

Thanks

Diamonds are a pool players best friend thats for sure. Initial investment is and should always be a concern however I am trying to look at the long term picture.
I am still undecided as to whether the smart table is worth another 1000.

I am thinking about purchasing a room. I wont have any coin ops in the room. Every table will be hourly. With that situation do you really need the Smart Table features.

The 7fts also come in a ProAm non-coin model for less!
