What type of pin is this?

Thank you for the replies.

Can someone further help by giving me a specific link to where I can get a shaft that fits what you posted. I'm lost looking for them.

I counted 11 threads in the picture. Piloted so not counting threads below the joint or the couple or three that were smoothed off.

Pretty much 14 TPI. A pin would be installed usually over an inch exposed up to 1 1/2". One inch above the collar, (into the shaft), it looks like in this and somewhere around 1/2" or less for the pilot.

3 inch pins, I put a minimum, 1 1/2 into the butt.

Thanks Danny. I think I'll just wait and try to buy something from someone in person. If I got all the same responses in the thread and in PM it might be different. However I have had answers all over the place, and hate to have a wrong shaft.

Email them and ask what option to select for a 5x16/14 pin

You have to order by brand on that site for some reason.

I have had answers all over the place,

I saw 4 posts for 5/16x14, and if you count my opinion, that makes 5. I did not see any other responses. Bill's piloted pins typically are 14 pitch although the pin is slightly narrower than 5/16". 5/16x14 shafts fit his pins nicely, but his shafts are not so interchangeable. One of the cues in your link was for a Jacoby and it looked to be a 3/8x10.

Next time you are in a pool room, ask to try someone's shaft that is 5/16x14. That should answer your question.
