Emily Duddy is at hill/hill in her match against Lidio.
She breaks and has either an easy safe to lock whitey on the 8b by the side pocket while banking the 1b up table *or* the lower % play would be to attempt the 1b bank cross-corner.
Al keeps repeating "I like locking the cue ball onto the 8" and it looks like Emily is getting ready to do just that. She's down on the shot and then <<wham>>, she rockets the 1b cross corner splitting the pocket and getting perfect on her next ball.
This was surprising and a balsy play at hill/hill.
Al says: "That was like crouching tiger humping lion,"
