What Would A unchalked Gilbert Titlist Go 4 ?

Gilbert doesn't sign his Titlist convversion cues ... so it's hard for buyer to "know". I've seen Gilbert Titlist go low as $600 in eBay in last year.

I would think around $1000 - it looks like a very nice cue.

Apprx $900---If I'm buying as a player---not more than 8 if I'm buying to flip:)

Ktown D,

What is your problem? Did I offend you somewhere along the line? I didn't deserve to be called a "DICK". How do you know that I am not interested in purchasing this cue?

Typical uneducated American.

Mind your own damn business.

Your e-mail address "Gilbertsaredoodoo@shittycuecollector.com" was a tip-off to your "well-mannered nature."

Hint: You won't make many friends here by insulting well-regarded cue makers.

That last line is really funny. You come into a gilbert thread, slam gilbert and then tell someone else to mind their own business. Thats classic! *lol*

What about that # 9!

I like that Model 9 a lot. It is a classic window cue. These are the disappearing early conversions by Eugene Balner, 1964 - 1967. These cues should command a premium over the ones made in the 1970's. I have 3 Model 9's. They only sell for $700 - $1000 on E-Bay, so I happen to think they are undervalued. The early Palmers in more or less original shape are much harder to find and are showing up for auction less frequently.

One shaft looks like a re-make.

Much thanks Tate

I almost bought one from hillbilly a few years back he showed it to me and asked about its value. I told him best not to let Woody convert it. I showed him one Scruggs titlist I had at the time then he offered it to me for 400. I hate to pass on another but looking at all the choices happening on ebay now that looks the juiciest. The #9 that is. thanks Nick

You conceited little eyesore. Initially, I was amused by your endless ramblings on this forum about your incessant quest to locate and purchase a SW cue. I think the lack of response to your efforts was consistent with the consensus opinion that you are indeed a penis. Now you post your unsolicited opinion as to the quality of the cues built by Mr. Gilbert. Most contributors to this forum hold Andy Gilbert's abilities in quite high regard. My first response in this thread was a reaction to your apparent ignorance to the quality of Gilbert's cues. You are doing very little to contradict my evaluation of you by continuing to post with the sarcasm that you have shown thus far.

There no existance of Gilbert's cue in my area. Can anyone tell me hows Gilbert cue play e.g. deflection, is it minimal or standard? I did come across some places mentioning his shafts are of different taper. tks

Gilberts are very stiff. Deflection seems standard, but my shooting game improved despite coming from a schon /w predator-Z. Its feedback is very sweet :)
