What would you call ......

Hey Deadon, please lay out all the facts/timeline, looking forward to hearing what happened and hope all works out for you.

Here is a summary;

Jan 09 Phone call- No problem, have ringwork, doing shafts now. Send cue. Cue sent.
mid 09, June-call-Sorry, involved in (cue) project. Soon.
Dec 09, call-Still tied up, not going to DCC. Will finish before VF.
No contact agan until DCC 2011 January. In the interim, I sent emails, called dozens of times. Snail mail. Had some fellow AZers that know him contact him. No response until DCC 2011.

His first DCC. I managed to catch hiim out in front by the vendors. As usual, he was surrounded by his fluffers and rear enders, so I had to be fairly civil. He said hi and he told me he had just (couple days before) sent me an email. He knows I go to DCC. Told me about all the wonderful extra work he did on my cue and how great it was now. All it needed was the wrap and he would contact me in a couple of weeks and finish the wrap.

Matt from cue addicts was there and laughed when I told him about the two weeks.

So March 2011 comes around and I manage to catch him on the phone. He has company and is finishing some work. Will get back to me in a week or two. Last time I heard from him.

More letters, emails and calls. No response.

Next steps are going to be much more serious for him.

There are lots of good cuemakers out there that could have done the same work and done it well and timely. But if you have a nice Searing, who do you send it to...

I had a cuemaker on AZ take over 1.5 years to complete my cue. He kept making excuses. Finally I told him I was going to report him to the FBI for mail fraud in 48 hours (and I was hopping mad serious) if he didn't deliver my cue or give me my money back. Boy did he squirm. Sent the cue right away. It was so pitiful that I only use it as a bludgen club in my car. All I am going to say is he lives in Florida - fking jerk.
