Tough call
Looking at the table it looks like you can reverse the cue ball under the 7. If I had that option that would be my first choice. Hopefully I would catch the 9 ball right and have a pop at the 1-9 combo. If I catch it right and miss the combo I have a shot at the cue ball coming back down table, it looks like the scratch in the side is clear, hopefully I don't sell out the 1.
If that option is not available I would play 2 rails under the 4 ball, If I miss the one coming in I have a shot at it 4 rails on the way out, it's natural that way,assuming again the 2 ball is not in the way, it looks clear.
I prefer to play a calculated shot rather than a crashem smashem shot and hope I get lucky and tie something up, if I dog it I dog it, it's better for my game to play accurate and precise, rather than to just wing it, that doesn't do anything for anyones game except hurt it. Win or lose I am playing a calculated shot.
