Pretty sure TAR is no more, iirc.I would like to see more Tar Matches. Those were some good matches.
Winner breaks races to 60 in 10 Ball. A real American shoot out.
Get a 8 of the best 10 Ball shooters and match them up.
Winner takes all and side bets encouraged.
]Leagues disappear. this keeps rooms openLeagues disappear.
Longer races in pro tournaments.
One pocket begins to become the game of choice for tournament play.
No more bar boxes. Ever.
More money.
Open minds to rule changes. (Why are matches won and lost because a single ball happens to slide in on the break for example? Why not alternate break and just have the breaker always shoot after the break?)
Not just the casual viewer...]
One pocket begins to become the game of choice for tournament play. This will kill pool for the casual viewer.
Unless the Mosconi Cup will be played on bar tables...
I like the way you are thinking.:thumbup:I doubt this will ever happen but Id like to see a real Association that is dedicated to focusing its efforts on what can be done to stimulate growth in pool. I know that this will never happen but its a wish of mine along with people joining it and staying members to hopefully see something good happen to the game in this country. Obviously something isnt working for us and its time we did something new.
Guys I know Tar is gone. I also believe there may be some one out there who is capable of putting those types of matches together. It was good stuff to watch.
Two good shooters in a real shoot out, that was TAR.
Picture these guys in a 10 Ball shoot out.

I know I left some out. Any one of them on any given day can beat the other one.
Tournaments and the Cup do not let the pro player show place their skills like a TAR match format did. Those long races let the cream rise to the top!

Does The Action Report no longer exist? Gone bankrupt? Is no more?
Please link me up.
I googled and found nothing that indicates that "TAR is gone".
Thanks for the link,
