basically what the title says is my question, what did he uses during the derby city 2015 where he played great, I know in 2008/2009 he was using Mezz hpII shaft, I'm wondering what did he changed to? thanks.
 
The Dufferin convertion he was playing with early in the week had an OB shaft for sure. I didn't get a close look at the shaft when he switched cues.
 
He played the mezz most of the week. He did not play with the OB that i seen all week

I imagine the one pocket will be available from Accu-stats eventually.
Hopefully they will have all his last matches on one offering because the matches were so short.
Someone said it was the best one-pocket ever caught on film.

i love to see all the matches of Alex.one pocket,bank and 9ball.if accu-stats have copy of it,i do not mind spending a dime. ;)

It was and it didn't have a damn thing to do with the shaft he was using.
 
From the photos I saw it appeared he switched between a MEZZ and an OB. I'm surprised we didn't see him use his old faithful Schon cue. It has always appeared to me that Alex likes to switch up cues during competition.
 
I've always wondered that if a player is sponsored by a company
and uses a competitors brand during competition, would he or she be voiding
any agreement with there sponsor ?
If Alex won with a Mezz shaft , it would put OB in a bind that they can't use that
win to promote there product.

Alex is a free agent right now.

I would believe so, why would you sponsor someone and then let them use the competitions product?? I'd kick them to the curb, and right quick. But, OB is no longer a sponsor, so he can play with whatever he wants... appears he still likes Mezz and OB though.

Absolutely right, depends i guess on what level of play but on there level,
most care about there equipment.
 
Ok i'm still confused a little bit, was he using OB or Mezz during the one pocket finals & 9ball finals of derby.

and if mezz shaft, which one? they have like 4 different shafts X_X
