What's inside your Maple Shaft?

Camaro vs, Mustang...the debate goes on. I do like the original shafts provided by Keith Josey. Tempted to try a lake salvage shaft, but have resisted so far.

And that is 100% correct if your buying shafts or cues that are made by certain cue makers or cue factories and even some custom cue makers .
But there are those who have the knowledge , talent or wisdom to make a solid maple shaft that doesn't warp....

I have only been making cues for a few year and have had only one shaft I built return to me warped. And it was a man made laminated LD shaft blank. One out of the 4 of that type blank I have use. Not too impressive as I have built around a couple of hundred out of solid maple that I approved with zero problems.

Besides that 95% of all cues built are sold to people who's game will not change one iota dependent on cue shaft deflection. That's a fact. That and 90% of all players believe their skills above average. Another mathematical impossibility.

Maple is beautiful!!
