Contemplating selling this cue, not sure if its worth what i have into it.

Schon STL-2

Has dents in the finish, but no cracks.
3 Shafts:
Schon standard. wizard medium.
Ob-2 30" black collar with silver ring Kamui Black medium ( 1 week old)
Tiger ultra X black collar sniper tip (flawless, minimal bluing)

any help is appreciated.

Yup, per piece.

LOL

You asked what it we thought it was worth. Schon cues are usually around 1/2 of retail. (600 / 2 = $300) You admitted it was dinged up pretty good. (-100= $200)

Most cues are sold with 2 shafts, you dont have the second Schon shaft, but do have a couple aftermarket shafts. (Basically a wash IMO)

I tried to give you an honest reply to your question.

When you sell it for $600 come tell me and I will admit I was wrong and buy you a beer.

Market is tough right now.

I am glad you appreciate my help.....

The 1/2 cue value minus the ding degredation value was good information . However i have more money tied up in new aftermarket shafts. I Should just sell the shafts and cue separate, just like i baught them. Because they wont fit on the new cue.

I'd say you'll be better off trying to do that.

Ken wasn't to far off on the value of the schon itself

based on the asking prices here these are my estimates...

Shon w/ original shaft = 200
new OB2 slightly used= 160-175
Tiger X ultra= 130-160

pieced out, est value; *500-550
packaged; **425- 450

*could get stuck with a piece for awhile
**just might see worse on the package

just educated guesses though.

I wanted to know the value, packaged or not. I've gotten asked a couple of times how much i wanted for it while we were out playing. I'll just keep it as my bar beater and sell one or both of the shafts off. My plan was to refinish it and rewrap it but i got a deal on a new one, so the thought crossed my mind. I have 4 cues, can only use one at a time, and they all shoot differently......
