What's the biggest compliment anyone has said about your game.

I was playing a guy who had quit his job in hopes of becoming a pro player. We played for about an hour and a half, and he had only won 2 games (9 ball). When he was putting his cue in his case, he said, "Man, I know I'm not that bad!" One of my buddies was sitting nearby and said, "No, he's that good, but you aren't as good as you think."

Second compliment was from the young kid who was working the break contest table in Galveston at the World Open tournament a couple of years ago. I was there with my two boys and they have always known that I break well, but I have never had any way to compare myself to others until that point. The kid broke a few times over 30 mph, but the cue never stayed on the table. Corey Duell had just finished breaking and was standing talking to a couple of other pros, and he made the comment that he figured his age was catching up to him because he couldn't seem to hit them as hard as he used to. He was clocking between 23-25mph. After they walked away, I got up to the table and broke 3 times, all over 27mph, the fastest at 28.2. The kid at the table said, "You hit them better than 98% of the guys I have seen." (I was 44 at the time, and was breaking with a leather tipped cue).

After losing $1400 one day, my opponent said I never missed a cross corner. Of course he never left me one either.
