What's the difference?

I am looking to buy a cue for a family member. A Mcdermott sneaky pete is 230 and an Adam sneaky pete is 75. What's the real difference between the two. If I go with the Mcdermott what is the extra money buying me?

Thanks,
Marcus

Better seasoned wood, a lifetime warranty, better construction, higher resale value, should I go on?
Now, this doesnt mean the Adams is a bad cue. It should be a fine player, just know that the quality is not going to be as high as the McD.

three to one

sense you asked. over the years i have owned 2 or 3 cues . and i have
had some low end cues that played as good or better than the so called
high end cues. adams cue has been around a while.
not much , just my opinion john107: anderson sc

i have had 3 Adams cues over 3 years the longest i kept 1 was 2 years! the other 2 lasted me 6 months at the least. I bought them cause of the price, i liked the look and the fact that i wasnt really "playing" at the time. ( really just banging balls around and playing with friends). They also seemed to get chipped and ding very easily .
I really didn't like them at all.

Id go with the McDermott...only a Schon hits as well than a McDermott, mass produced wise. Plus extra shafts are very available. Lust my 2 pennies.
