Definitiion of Heart

I never heard of someone say "I'll bet 40% of my bankroll" W/O stating how much his bankroll was. If his BR is $1000, that's a $400 bet. If the PPV gets 75 viewers his 25% take losing is about $470. Heart? Johnnyt

Whitey Walker was playing this guy in the pool room one night by the game, one pocket. The bet amount varied each game from anywhere from 500 to about 900 a game. Whitey busts him and the guy says wait here for 45 minutes and I'll be back to play some more. It was a tough game, Whitey was spotting this other player.

The guy comes back and starts to rack the balls. Whitey asks how much they are playing for and the guy says "we are playing for what is in my pocket". Whitey laughs and says, "well how much is it?" The guy repeats, "we are playing for how much is in my pocket. Be a man and take the bet" Anyone that knows Whitey, knows he has about as much or more heart than anyone so he says "ok, rack em up". There were a few of us in with Whitey that night so we all just agreed to take a % of whatever the total wound up being.

Whitey wins and the guy pulls all the money out of his pocket and hands it to him. It was about 1800. .

Now that is heart.

I believe it started over an aiming system thread and I think Softshot had something to do with it as well. I really don't remember what started it but Chris has been trying to play him for a long time.

And Gene has had his fair share of health issues in that time. Give him some credit for stepping up to play.
