Does somebody of you really knows, why Predator choose the number 314 and the letter Z for their shafts?

Does the 314 and the Z are meaning anything or standing for something?

WHO KNOWS THE TRUTH ABOUT THAT?

Bravo BigBoof / A green for that!

I'm pretty sure, that you're right!

And the Z . . . any idea?

Could it be, because it's the last letter in the Alphabet and you can't go any further/higher as with the Z?
Or is the Z just standing for Zero Deflection?

WHO KNOWS IT?

Shafts

I have 2 314-2 and one original 314 that I've had since they first came out. Is there something I should be worried about? Haven't had any trouble with them yet, really like them.

Professionally I have never seen a straight predator 314 or the Z shafts in the 9 years of repairing pool cues .
I have seen one BK 2 or BK3 shaft that was OK nothing wrong with it.

That's what I base my opinion on.
Sorry it differs from yours

So the Z stands for Zero Quality, or for what?
