Me either!!! Thats why...damn I should stop giving away secrets...I cored my personal cue's forearm with soft black ABS plastic...and then installed the pin into the plastic. Talk about an ULTRA sweet "hit"...with zero noise/vibration. Of course I do like a softer hitting cue.;) Everyone who has hit a ball with that cue said it was a freak...and tried to buy it. Even Allison & Kristy Carter were amazed with the cue.:D Poolcuemaster (he ain't...believe me) on this forum was really freakin' out...asked 20 times what I did to get that "hit". He tried to buy it too!!! :D

Hey the cue hits good thats true, but in your hands it is wasted for shore and you must have forgot about us practicing together at Viking stop in Hickory earlier this year where I won 8 out of every 10 games at least, maybe 9 out of 10. go grind some wood you can't play dead on a pool table. Leonard your daddy poolcuemaster

Only thing you're "daddy" of is a buffet table. Don't try and count non-betting practice when we arrived 3 hours early for an event and I was clocking action. Who took Justin Daniel to the hill just after he beat Shawn Putnam. You can post all of your oil changing, brake swapping cash you can save...Rack Em' is fine with me...race to 9. I ain't Shaun Wilkie...but you Leonard...can flat "GET SOME"!!!

you are thinking about clock allright hoping the tourney started quickly so you wouldn't have to slop rack me again and again, next time take yourself a splinter picking break so a real pool player can step up and play me some.

You are brave on this forum fatboy...truth be told...your wife plays better than you. You're not going to make much of a cuemaker with that woodlathe either...anyone who turns the joint area down to like .712 on their break cue....well...lets say you better stick to auto repair. Fear not Leonard...if a chicken wing eating tournament breaks out....I'll buy you with the very first blind bid!!!:D :D :D

See... this is exactly why I have to read every stinkin thread. Because the title itself NEVER correctly reveals the entertainment that lies within.

Everyone who has cues on order with me, you'll understand why I can't get anything done.

Hey Bru, I do not share your philosophy on no metal cues pins (the key is that they must be installed and epoxied correctly) but I was wondering if you have considered a threaded wood pin at the joint like in a billiard cue?

are there other pin substitutes besides the epoxy glass? i never heard of a phenolic pin. for me, the only reason i asked about the g10 or like is i don't want any resonating metal or resonating anything for that matter, in my cue.

Don't do that my friend...then Leonard will never get his butt off your snack filled couch...I need him in action...at least on a day when his wife ain't got his wallet.;)
In all seriousness here folks we are talking about a man who put his own elk master tips onto his 9mm shaft at least until recently...nuff said.:p
Screw around Lenny & I'll own that OB-1 & both them Pred. butts.
:D :D :D Don't make me sic old man Killough on your azz. Styers just called and said you can win the entire David & Leigh empire if you play me even.;)

Lenny this is Mark Mindel. In case you've not noticed, and I hate to kill his action, but KV is in deadstroke. No one I've seen has worked harder on their game. I get the 7 and can't get there.
I'll cover all KV side action...just say when.
Bet something too...not punk change!!!

With friends like this knocking my action...I'll soon be back to glueing tips on house cues.
MM...you have the 7 & the snap...double up.;)

Back to the real thread...Petree when are you gettin my pins? Anyone tried the Black G10 Pins? If so what do you think of the hit?

to bad you aint holding like the feds, don't forget you still owe me 20 bucks you can't pay kv. And if my wife carrys my cash then how have have you been able to come to my job on at least 3 different occassions begging me to give you some large amounts of cash cause you gotta pay up somebody, probably a APA 3 or 4 that busted you. My dad a very smart man taught me to never put up a lumber yard against a matchstick, and you know I got all the cash I need anyway except the 20 you owe me. I spent more than you could gamble in a month at US Open last week.

I'm interested if anyone else has any input or feedback in regards to the G10 pins...like/dislike? Differences in feel?

I have a Cognoscenti that hits very well. I don't necessarly believe the G10 pin is responsible for it, except that using it allowed Joey Gold to use a solid, uncored ebony forearm, and still keep the cue in the 19.5oz. range. JMO.

First of all...I don't owe you shit. Your lucky I even worked on your crap. Bringing me your own wood you bought from someone who makes furniture table legs...and wanting me to drill & tap it so you could install your own pins. What a cheapskate. Plus the wood was cracked all the way down the forearm...and turned down to like .740 at the joint end...what idiot did that...you said you did. You need to watch your mouth about what you say about me on this public forum. I know you think its cute...I do NOT. Like Mindel & I said...you can play me even for any amount you'd like...post up...Rack Em' will be fine. Now how much do you want to bet?You freakin' pretend to be highroller...race to 9 for a grand & we'll post results here. You know me....you KNOW better...keep smarting off with that punk mouth...I WILL come visit you & you know how that will go.
Now go back to changing oil at your job at the gas station and quit pretending to be a cuemaker with a $50 yardsale woodlathe.
I've tried to be friends with you...thats over... I can not be more serious, smart off one more time...we'll see if you like that better.;) I'm not playing these forum games...I'll come visit you face to face!!! You of all people should know me better....
