What's the proper name(s) for rail corners?

I'm asking about where the rails turn in towards the pockets - the corners there. I learned terms related to female anatomy. Maybe they are common usage, but I don't know - it's been a long time.

I figured instructors were the people to ask.

I call them Knuckles.

In the mid 90's I was sweating a Kim Davenport match at the US open where he played a shot off the corner of the pocket. When I asked him about it after the match, he referred to it as the Knuckle. Seemed to me to be a better (and safer) description of that part of the table.

Been using it ever since.

If someone said to you that the ball hit the point, would you know what he meant? Good. Then use that word.

The other word was created by people with no class and continues to be used by people with no class.
