What's the proper way to put pocket chalker in your pocket?

Pete,

Wow, sounds like you were close to being an episode on "1000 Ways to Die".

By the way, for the safety of our reader's, I strongly recommend removing the gunpower from the 50 caiber bullet before soldering it to the chalk holder. Better yet, use something that doesn't explode and blow your body parts off.

Chris:

.50 caliber?!? As in the standard ammo of the military, and the Barrett .50 BMG caliber sniper rifles? That round won't even fit in most people's rear pockets!

Yeah, I'd say if you're trying to make a chalk holder out of a .50 caliber BMG cartridge, and you're soldering to the primer of a live cartridge, I'd say you're doing your own... well... thinning of the herd. :D

Chalk first or stick first with the chalk hanging out? I've seen both and it's bugging me wondering what the makers intended to go in first lol Stupid, I know

Dude, where the heck you from.... I've NEVER seen anyone EVER put the chalk in their pocket leaving the stick hanging out.... bar, pool room, tourney, anywhere.....

Is there maybe a mental hospital near your local pool room ??

I stopped using mine. It now gets in the way of putting my keys in the upper pocket of my case. This post has given me the epiphany to throw it away!

There, fixed it for ya.

1. Chalk cue with Kamui chalk

2. Forget to put in pocket

3. Lose chalk

4. shell out $25 to buy Kamui chalk again

5. Repeat

6. Profit (kamui)

Chalk Pockets !

If you are a pro ,

The chalk goes in the suit waistcoat pocket.

If you are a punter ,

The chalk goes in your denim front or back pocket.

Chalk gizmo gadget attatchments are all very well , I used one myself ,

In the 1980's recession the pub team I played for had to share chalk !

Nobody Told Me - John Lennon .

You never know, there are a lot of different pocket chalkers on the market these days.
I'm sure that one could be modified for bi-directional applications.

I use the euro pocket chalker, because you can snap a leather strip over the top of the chalk. This keeps the chalk marks off the inside of my case.
However, I couldn't stand the loop around my fingers thing...I just cut the bristles off a toothbrush that had a hole in the end of the handle, looped the string of the chalker though that hole, and use it as a regular chalker is used.

Why use a chalker at all? Some places (bars) I play in never seem to have decent chalk, if they have chalk at all.

Well it has occurred to me that I will now spit in all of the chalk on the table since my Kamui chalk will be safely in my own pocket.... I will then laugh sadistically when my opponents miss-cue and look befuddled.... I will point out how I never miss-cue with my Kamui chalk and will then attempt to sell said chalk for a markup over the 29bucks I am paying for it...... Only halfway kidding..... LOL
