Hey folks,

What do you feel is a reasonable value for this TS cue....

The cue is mint -- 4 cocobola points, leather wrap, cocobola butt sleeve, ivory/ebony/silver stitch ringwork, ivory ferrules -- very very nice cue :)

Not interested in trading or selling this cue.....need to establish a fair value for a friend!? ;)

well Ken, since they start at $1900, I'd guess and this is only a guess, I'd say about $2000 with leather wrap, but probably am wrong
sorry Ken...forgot to figure on age, so maybe $1500-$1750

TS Price...

Ken,

Assuming that the cue is used, but in great shape...I would hazard a guess at 1700-1800. It's a '97...so a little less for the age. It's a leather wrapped cue in (assuming) great shape...so add it back in.

Considering the summer time market, I'd personally go up to 1750 for it....but that's just me....and we ALL know I have issues when it comes to cues!

Have a great one, sir.

age and lack of veneers I thought about $950, what a new cue from T.S. costs means nothing to me in estimating the market value of a older cue, but that's just me.......... Or mine are worth big bucks as they are level 5 cues, with lots of ivory inlays with premium grade shafts

i would pay about 850-900,after determinating the balance point on it, it's a plain cue. and nice and simple

for anything used on the secondary market 60% of retail is about all you can expect to recoupe.....

I agree with the other posters, 850-900 seems to be a fair price. The shafts both looked used and it does not have any veneers. Those would be the two things batting against it. It's age I believe would be a plus...getting harder to find those older TS cues it seems.

If you feel like maybe working a trade, send me a PM.

well, vinnababarooch had one on recently, no points but an ivory joint and an ivory butt cap and similar ivory rings at all 5 positions. here is the link:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=33386

he started out on 6/2 at $1350 and lowered it to $1275 and as of 6/7 was still bumping it. i believe he did eventually sell the cue. his has no points, but i believe the ivory joint and ivory butt cap are worth more than 4 points with no veneers. of course, the market is slow right now also.
