First they took Alex Pagulayan from us (Philippines) to represent them in pool tournaments, now they took another Filipina to represent them in the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant!

Hahaha. Apparently we have good taste.
In both cases.

Couldn't think of a better Rep for pool. John Morra is doing a good job as well.

Those damn Canadians, with their flapping heads and beady eyes.

Sing it with me now:

Blame Canada! Blame Canada!

Yeah I know, we just get a little lonely at times.

I think that NY City has more people in it than the entire population of Canada.

The only people we are getting to fill the void just keep opening up more convenience stores.

A small Dollar store was sold in a mall outlet. Up to that point, it was a true Dollar Store.

After the change of proprietorship, the prices went up to, two dollars to five for everything.
I think he missed the point. it wasn't open for long after that.

The quote I like:
So the debt isn’t exploding but, on the contrary, stabilizing after several years of prudent management.

Even if it was true, it was accomplished under different management.
I'm still waiting for Quebec to buy out the minority shares of Asbestos Corp.

I'd ask the Bahamians the same question, many spend vacation there, and many their have relatives in Canada....my guess one gets tired of being hot all the time and wants some cool air, or maybe they were brainwashed

Actually, the Bald Eagle is probably fitting to the current political regime the people have chosen.

Good stuff...

Poorly traveled US folks have the opinion that US is first in every comparison but that is not the case.

If you move on to things like health care, education, quality of life the story is pretty much the same. Not many high rankings.

Don't get me wrong, I love where I live and have the ability to live elsewhere if I chose to, but, I like the overall package in the US

How about those Canadian Blue Sharks? They just obliterated The Rockets featuring Mika, Morris and Hundal 14-2.

What an upset.
